I’d bought a ticket and, during the interval between bands, managed to position myself amongst the professional photographers without anyone noticing.There was a stellar line-up, including Macca, Pete Townshend, Robert Plant, Elvis Costello, Ronnie Lane, James Honeyman-Scott, Billy Connolly etc. but it’s this frame I like. Pete’s expression as he looks at Macca is worth a thousand words, and it could well be the only frame of the two of them side-by-side onstage.
